Our Restoration Process
Every home is unique, which is why we use a variety of restoration methods based on the structure, condition, and specific needs of each project. Our services include:

About Us
Rocky Mountain Log Home Restoration was founded in 2023 by John and Courtney Bogardus.
John grew up working in his family’s restoration business, spending his summers learning the trade and developing a passion for restoring homes. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Army as a Combat Engineer. Upon completing his first enlistment contract, he returned to Montana, transferred to the Army National Guard, and resumed working in the family restoration business.
A few months later, John was selected to attend Army Flight School at Fort Rucker, Alabama. He graduated on July 28, 2022, as a UH-60 Black Hawk pilot and returned to Montana to continue serving while pursuing his passion for home restoration.
After returning home, John met his wife, Courtney. Courtney grew up on a ranch in Ronan, Montana, where she developed a deep love for animals. She worked as a veterinary technician and successfully operated her own dog grooming business before joining John in building Rocky Mountain Log Home Restoration.
Together, John and Courtney are committed to serving their customers with honesty, hard work, and quality craftsmanship while carrying on a family tradition of excellence in restoration.
