Rocky Mountain Log Home Restoration’s goal is to provide our customers with a service that assures each home we work on is restored and preserved for many years. We provide restoration and maintenance services for log, wood, and concrete-sided homes. We have over ten years of experience in the restoration business. Additionally, we partner with COB-IT Log Home Restoration, which has over 20 years of experience in and around the Seeley/Swan Valley area.
Our Process:
We have a variety of methods for restoring homes, depending on the construction and condition of the building. These include media blasting, sanding, grinding, chemical stripping, and pressure washing. We are also able to remove plaster and paint. The next step is applying the finish that our customer selects. We can recommend finishes for superior coverage and penetration of the wood to provide the highest quality and longevity. In addition to blasting log homes, we have had success restoring concrete and brick buildings. We also do interior and exterior painting, door and trim packages, lacquering, staining, and log repair. We enjoy tackling and completing unique and challenging jobs.

About us
Rocky Mountain Log Home Restoration was started by John and Courtny Bogardus in 2023 and partners with John’s Dad who owns COB-IT Log Home restoration. John grew up working in the family business restoring homes in the summers until he graduated high school
And joined the army as a combat engineer. Upon completion of his first contract, John returned to Montana transferring from active duty to the National Guard and started working in the family business again. After a few months in the Montana Guard, he was provided an opportunity to attend Army flight school at Fort Rucker, Alabama and graduated on July 28, 2022, as a black hawk pilot. After moving back to Montana, John met his wife, Courtney, who grew up on a ranch in Ronan, Montana where she found her love for animals working as a vet tech and running her own dog grooming business.
